Are you thinking about becoming an acupuncturist, but you’re unsure if you’ll be able to make a living as a healer?

Starting a new career as an acupuncturist can be scary.  For the next several years, you’ll be learning all about the body and health including herbs, massage, acupuncture and so much more. This commitment will be intense and rewarding.

Following our vision to be the pre-eminent acupuncture school in the nation, we combine a rigorous academic program of learning and hands-on experience with an emphasis on energy cultivation and balance.

In 2007 we created a Professional Development Center (PDC), to help you find the tools you’ll need to succeed.

We’ll be honest with you and we’ll share some foundational classes in business.

We know that’s just the beginning and that’s why we offer our students and graduates a monthly ezine, online forum, and talks by professionals in the field.

Whether you want information on how to access a free business mentor or you are looking for a book on how to take a sabbatical, the PDC is here to serve.

In Appreciation,

Jason A. Stein, LAc
Chair of Professional Development
Oregon College of Oriental Medicine
